Check out this website. Me and some of the other guys on the cross - country team always debate if drinking chocolate milk is a good recovery drink as compared to a regular sports recovery drink. The whole idea behing the chocolate milk is that it has 4:1 ratio of carbohydrates to protein.

Hey fellow protein blogger :) I drink milk before and after I lift weights...helps to increase the rate of protein synthesis and helps you not be as sore the next day (and, yeah, it's usually chocolate:)). Your blog looks really good/has some pretty nifty info in it so far! Good job!
Wow, Andrew--who knew?!? No wonder I've managed to keep up (sort of) with my teammates when we run--because the ony flavor of "muscle milk" I ever drink is the ever-popular chocolate! Thanks for strengthening (excuse the pun) my case that choco-RULES!
